Scugog's historical treasures and archives have moved to the new Scugog Shores Heritage Centre and Archives. Located above the second ice pad at the Scugog Arena, the 4,000 square-foot development serves as a home for the Township's archives and offers an exhibit space that's completely accessible to the public. It will also be home to permanent galleries showcasing local First Nations history and local history, as well as a rotating gallery which will include art shows and traveling exhibits from larger institutions such as the Royal Ontario Museum.
