Where is the museum located, and how do I get there?
We are located at 16210 Island Road, Port Perry, Ontario, 20 minutes north of Oshawa.
Driving Directions:
From Toronto: Take 401 East. Exit at Simcoe Street in Oshawa. Follow Simcoe Street north to Port Perry. Turn right(east) at the lights on to Scugog Street (Hwy. 7A). Drive for approx. 1 km (across the lake) until you see Island Road and turn left. The Museum is located approx. 1 km north on the left side.
From Peterborough: Take highway 115 south. Exit on Hwy 7A West/Cavan 9th Line exit to Port Perry. Turn right onto Hwy 7A/Provincial Route 35. Then turn left on Provincial Route 7A. Follow until you get to Island road. Turn right and continue north until you see us on the left side of the street.
