7th Annual Dog Days of Scugog



When: Saturday, July 18th and Sunday, July 19th - 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Calling all dog lovers...you won't want to miss the 7th annual Dog Days of Scugog. This fun-filled day for dogs and their whole family celebrates the special bond we share with our canine friends. Dog Days is the largest dog event in Durham Region. We expect 1500+ dogs and people for our seventh annual event

Agility demonstrations by Daytripper Dog Training
Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm
Course open throughout the day for public to try. No entry fee.

Jack Russell Racing demonstration by JRT Rescue
Saturday at 10:00 AM, 11:45 AM and 2:00 PM
Unlimited racing open to the public for $10 per dog. All dogs (excluding puppies) must be muzzled while racing.

CKC Rally Obedience demonstration and CARO Rally Obedience demonstration
Saturday at 12:30 PM and Sunday at 1:00 PM
Courses open both days for the public to try. No entry fee.

Canine Good Neighbour Test
Saturday at 4:00 pm
Registration is $25 per dog. Pre-registration required.

Carting demonstration by the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Ontario
Saturday at 10:30 AM

Skyhoundz Disc Dog competition
Saturday at 12:00 PM
All welcome to enter. No entry fee.

Fabulous contests offered throughout both Saturday and Sunday. Enter your dog in the Longest Ears contest or Fastest Tail Wagging. Prizes donated by Global Pet Foods, Port Perry; Paulmac’s Pet Food Plus, Port Perry and Global Pet Foods, Thornton Road, Oshawa.

Vendor Information


Vendor space is available for commercial businesses, breeders and non-profit groups. We are looking for commercial vendors in the following categories: fashion, accessories, travel, food & treats, health, artists & photography. All vendors are welcome.

Commercial Registration Fee: 1- Day....$50/ 2 - Days....$75
Vendor space is 12' x 12'. All commercial registration includes 1 table and 2 chairs.
